Help! new r3c install....
Installed a r2c intake today. Attaching the tube from the crank case to the intake tube was a HUGE PITA. Used the original on the drivers side and the new included tube on the passengers, however I could not get the tube not to kink!
Is this going to be an issue? Drove the car and everything seems fine...but losing a lot of power in 6th....
I want to make sure i'm not doing terrible things to the car....

i think thats the route i'm going to take...
had another question, there were plastic boxes attached to the crankcase stem, guessing these were filters? Do i not need filters anymore since i'm running r2c's? is this going to dirty up the engine alot?

I dont have them but dont you think they should fit right out of the box? If you go on replacing the tubing what the hell was the point of buying it lol .
I just ask because I havent seen this issue previously mentioned and I might want some in the future . Maybe someone can chim in with some input.

OK i had the same issue when I installed my R2C. This is what you have to do(I'm a technician by the way). On the passanger side, use the stock hose but flip it around and it will fit perfect. On the driver's, use the stock hose. It will be a little short, so pull it up a little so it will reach the intake tube. If you have any other questions you can PM me.

I just installed mine last weekend, although it was on a sedan (shouldn't really matter). I got rid of the two catch boxes as per the instructions, but reused the two stock breather hoses like previously mentioned. Just flip the passenger side hose around and it fits fairly well. That flimsy piece of hose that came with the kit is ridiculous.

Did the hose flip trick and with a little maneauvering it fit and stayed fiitted. Drove to work today (40 miles) and everything still solidly in place.
Thanks for all the help!
(and that little piece of tubing they send you is definitely ridiculous -- it has no body to it and kinks with every turn)
