HFC noob questions...
#16
An O2 bung is basically a threaded hole in the pipe that allows for the installation of an O2 sensor. The HFC's should come with two already (one pre-cat, one post-cat) to allow for the re-installation of the OEM O2 sensors. The pre-cat O2 sensor monitors air/ fuel ratio to help adjust fuel trim, while the post-cat O2 sensor is used to monitor catalyst efficiency. Sometimes they add another O2 bung (pre-cat) in case you want to install your own O2 sensor for an AFR gauge or something like that. FYI some of these HFC's are not as efficient as the OEM ones and cause check engine lights for things like low catalyst efficiency. I have seen mixed results as far as how many people have this issue with the G. I think the FI RHFC's are your best bet though and from the research I have done I don't think you should have a check engine light issue with them. Just something to be aware of tho.

LOL I just emailed Tony yesterday to check on the status of my order. He said they probably won't ship until the 17th or 18th...so I probably won't get them until the 23rd...but you bet your *** that I'll be getting them installed the same day I get them! The wait/suspense is killing me too man...I'm like a little kid, I suck at delayed gratification lol

Woohoo! Tony just called to let me know my RHFCs will ship tomorrow and I'll have them by Wednesday. Going out of town for a long weekend next week (Wednesday night to Monday), so I may have to take off of work on Wednesday so I can have them installed before I leave lol
