Amazon.com: Fram CA10544 Extra Guard Panel Air Filter: Automotive Amazon.com: Fram CA10544 Extra Guard Panel Air Filter: Automotive

Rebate form: http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/image...375948299_.pdf

$11.53/ea if you do the subscribe and save.

$2/ea rebate (limit 2 rebates/$4) through the end of the year.

So for $19 and change you get 2 filters. Just ordered some as i'll probably need to replace these by the fall (10,5K miles on the car now). Stock ones don't look too bad right now, but definitely not as clean as when new.

I was going to change my air filters, so I called parts at my local Infiniti dealer. The OE part from Infiniti is $37 each. The car needs 2. Out of curiosity, I called the Nissan dealer and asked about the filter for 370Z. The part is $21 each.

After I got home and did a search on Amazon. The Fram filter which fits both 370z and the G37 costs $12 each.

I know Fram is cheaper. But it was surprising that Infiniti can charge almost double for the same part as Nissan. Does Infiniti think we're stupid?
Just ran across this thread so here is my $.02

I purchased 2 new air filters at my local Infiniti dealer for $14.12 each and a cabin filter for $24.70

I don't use any after market parts in my G nor do I let anyone but the dealer work on it.

I change my air filters every 10 thousand miles and my cabin filter once a year. Both are easy DIY jobs

^^Consider yourself lucky. Around here, dealers want $25-35/ea. Oddly enough, the nissan shops charge more than infiniti.

^^ Lol. I contacted the seller too. While they were quick to respond, the filters are not oem

It's an air filter. How complicated/expensive does it need to be. While I won't use fram oil filters, it's pretty hard to screw up an air filter.

Am I the only one that asks for a discount from the Infiniti Dealer Parts Department?

I also purchased a battery and tires for my previous G35 from the dealer and the prices were very close to what independent shops were charging.
