Fast intentions replaces this with an amazingly tuned and refined X pipe(proven to be best for power gains) with a mid(which you get the option to have 18" resonators, 12", or none). Then you also get to choose between the shape of the mufflers(round mufflers, oval) as well as the finish (carbon fiber or polished stainless)
Thanks for explaining that! So the bigger the resonator the less sound output you get in the end?

Can you keep everything else stock and just do this exhaust mod (no tuning needed)? When does it get complicated - when you do a cold air intake as well?

What about inspections? Does the FI exhaust pass state inspections and keep the dashboard idiot lights from coming on?

You will not have issues with any check engine lights! everything is direct bolt on. 18s will be quieter then having no resonators. ON first page u see the resonators being 12 inches, these will be louder then 18s and after previously owning 18s they are defently louder. You can leave everything else stock with no tuning required, later on even with intakes u can also leave untuned but if u want extra power then tuning is recomened.

NONE OF THESE BOLT ONS ARE COMPLICATED ITS ALL SOMETHING YOU CAN DO YOURSELF AND AVOID ANY PROBLEMS WITH INSPECTIONS ETC...

Excellent vids! Did you say you had some of the audio inside the car as well? I checked your profile tabs but don't see them there.

My bad - didn't realize it was part of that one - when I saw the parking lot stuff I figured that was all it was. Thanks again...

BTW!!! I just wanted to add that i installed this exhaust myself at my friends place, i have done this several times. YES its that easy, at least to me lol. We did it in less then 1 hour, it really helps having power tools/jack stands and a beer.

FITMENT? Its so perfect i even installed my gaskets and bolted up the entire exhaust before install making sure all was tightly secure. While i held my mufflers my buddy held the other end as we lined it up on the cats lol Everything was dead on PERFECT!!! I gotta say this was fun!!! Its amazing how everything lines up so good, no gaps no uneven mufflers no issues at all. It really gives you piece of mind when you DIY as long as you know what you are doing.

My RHFC though i will not attempt install! I will probably have dealer install those, i do not want to mess with that myself just yet.

OMG if the sound is like this now im even more excited for the resonated HFC to go on already. LOL gonna be so sick guys!

Those of you who own Fast Int. know exactly what i mean when you pull up to places and you feel and hear the car breathing. LOL SO MEAN!!!!

IM AT WORK COUNTING THE CLOCK DOWN TILL IM OFF! I CANT WAIT TO DRIVE MY CAR AGAIN IM GONNA MAKE ANOTHER VIDEO AFTER WARM UP AND A LONG DRIVE SO I SHOW YOU GUYS SOME REVS OF THE SOUND AFTER WARM UP.

Looking forward to additional videos...

Do you notice much difference in power with stock tuning? It's supposed to be 4-7 HP and a few lb/ft torque right?
