Car hesitation and bogs with stillen gen 3

I installed the stillen gen 3 the other day and driving around I've noticed a hesitation and bog when I floor it as the car downshifts . I checked all the connections and maf's. All are good. I did disconnect the neg terminal while I installed so the ecu should be cleared.

Is it the ecu learning and figuring things out and the problem should go away with driving ?

I'm not sure, but you can have your dealer restart your ECU properly. They once told me that you'd rather do that whenever you change an intake out.

Sounds like the ecu is learning the new airflow. Give it a few days.

hm...it shouldn't be bogging though? did you touch the maf sensors by chance when you were installing? you didn't mess around with the throttle flaps did you?

I did a ecu reset so I'll see if that works. I did not mess with the throttle flap and I don't think I touched the maf's.

ive heard that alot of people that install the Gen 3s or High flow cats or test pipes get this. then they get a tune from uprev and its gone. may be what you need. im getting the bogging hesitation almost like my transmission is confused on what gear to pick. ive got HFCs and an exhaust. i picked up a hypertech tuner used for $200 (couldnt pass that up) ill see if that helps me.

I get that sometimes, thought it had to do with the transmission though

Yeah, it could be a transmission problem. Ironiclly I reset the ecu and now my transmittion is giving me the problems people have been talking about. Before this, my tranny worked great.

I would not install after market air intake for this car. The stock boxes is already very good, two of them.
But that is just me.
