great write up....this is really interesting.

I was always under the impression that the 1st gen and 2nd gen exhausts were the same...but i did notice a sound difference. it would be cool to have a side by side comparison between the 2.

unfortunately i dont have the spares or tools to try this myself.....which is fortunate for my spare time because then id just end up taking it apart and trying different combinations
