y-pipe

I just installed a fujitsubo legails r exhaust today and was wondering what a good y pipe to go with it would be. And it will just make the exhaust deeper correct? Then I will probably go with berk hfc since they seem to be the number 1 option on the bored but that will be next year when I will get it tuned aswell ( have gen 3s already)

Thanks in advance

tanabes are the best i think. but if you dont wanna spend about $550, then buy ichibas or m2 performance for about $250. theres also the exhaust depots which i dont know how much they cost. from what i've heard from clips, tanabes are the sickest tho. thats my input

I have the fujitsubo legalis with berks. The sound is flawless. Especially once you give it a little extra on the pedal. I'm getting an exhaust depot y pipe. How do you like the exhaust so far?

The exhaust is nice but I want to get it a little loader and the y -pipe and hfc should accomplish that ... And will all y pipes have a similar sound because they are essentially the same thing ? I understand that there will be slight quality difference .

Thanks again

All but ED have 3" collectors, the mid pipe is 2.5", that will cause turbulence.
Not good.
Get the ED pipe, it has a 2.5" collector.

I just went to the gym and I think that this exhaust is almost quieter than stock but I have better mid - highend torque will the y pipe make it a little loader or will I have to wait until I get hfc to get a little loader .. And after it breaks in will it get loader quieter or stay the same ?
Thanks

Y-pipe alone will not give you a drastic difference in sound. If you are simply looking for more volume, the HFC's are your best bet.

I will get hfc but probably next year because I don't have money for them and a tune right now and I enjoy driving hard and don't want to have to hold back because my afr is f*cked up... So a y pipe seems like a decent solution until the spring + I want a new y pipe any way the stock one is small

And no one has cleared up how much the sound will change BETWEEN different y pipes ...I am just wondering if I should buy a 100 dollar on the ed one for 275 or the tanable one for 500
