Really need help with this!!!

Ok so I have an 07 g35x sedan. I started my exhaust mods about 5 months ago with a set of BERK HFC. Then I added the Invidia Q300 exhaust (used) and was modded by the previous owner to fit the x. But it was the version without the resonators so it rasped like no other. I recently sold that and bought a very lightly used ARK that again was modded for the x. I brought it to my tuner shop and had him check it for leaks and fix up all the welds before installing it. I am in love with the tone and volume but hate the slight whistle like rasp. I have ruled everything out down to the cats. It has to be the HFC giving the exhaust that noise because no one with the ark and stock cats has that noise (even the previous owner). So now the hard part. I cant have that sound it is embarrassing and annoying. I plan to have my stock cats put back on and then get my car tuned. How much power do you think I will lose post tune by not having HFC? The other option is to get GTM test pipes (would love ART but they dont fit on the x) but my concern is that they would make the rasp worse. Cant anyone offer any suggestions or advice? Thanks a lot.. I have never been so unsure about a decision for my car haha

Did you not research this before?! It's a forum man lol, there are many people that have the Ark exhaust and complain about the Berks....Ark actually states on a few occasions that they are not designed to work with the improved flow of the Berks, they are a 200 cell which is one of the highest flowing systems vs the rest of the market. FI gaurantees that they have no rasp at all with their catback exhaust system.

There's a few options out there. You could do Fast Intentions Resonated high flow cats (I had them and loved em), Motordyne ART pipes, or Fast Intentions Double resonated test pipes (Tony custom made me a set of these and I couldn't have been happier).

ART I cant do because I have an X

and I had the BERKS before I got the ARK and I couldn't find anything negative about the setup so I decided to give it a try. And OOOO double resonated test pipes sounds awesome I kind of want to ask him about that. Thanks!

I thought all g37 have the same exhuast all the way down to the y pipe? So all aftermarket tp, hfc, y pipe that fit one model will fit the others?

On the X the transfer case on the passenger side causes problems and a bit of work on the piping to fit without hitting it, so not all exhausts fit X and HFC and TP fit both models BUT the ART TP is a totally different design (with the big cylinders welded to the side for back pressure) which needs room that the X does not have.
