Yeah you're talking about the hiss sound that gets amplified with your cats and mufflers removed

IMO, the car loses its classy aspect when it's just uselessly loud, you can always throw in an FI catback and some resonated HFC's or TP's if you want a nice exotic sound that will drive you deaf as well

i removed my muffler once too for a day and it sounded too loud and you lose lots of torque and power.

after spending 1500$ on your exhaust system you'll be getting about the same sound as straight..?

As far as your running without a catalytic converter, you alone will have to decide if you meet the requirements of a good, law abiding citizen or not.
I'm sorry, guess I'm not haha

I just bought a g and it came with a straight pipe true dual and let me tell you sounds like crap!!!!! Worse then rice sound! Has Good mufflers but the straight pipe kills it. ' ' I'm putting back the factory resonators hopefully makes it's a better sound with out rasping sound ... what do you guys think?

it really depends on what you’re trying to achieve. If you want a loud, & mean sounding exhaust for a low price because you’re on a budget or looking for cheaper options. Go for it. The only downside is you get what you pay for, there will be rasp & it’s going to have drone. I have resonated test pipes & muffler delete & i personally love it for the price. (I’m a broke college student so i cant drop a ton right now lol). If you’re looking to make it sound mean but quiet when you want it, get an axle back, they’re fairly cheap & you will still notice a difference.
