2011 G37 Stock Intakes Vs 370Z

Guys,

After driving 2010 370z 7AT and when I would down shift the car would rav match you would hear a very nice shoooossss I love that sound it would make.

My 2011 G37S 7AT is not doing it. If was to change the G37 stock intakes for the 370z intakes do you think it would have the sound back?

I don't think there is any difference between the stock intake tubes with both cars, I remember looking at my buddies stock 370z setup and it was identical to my G37 sedan.

I can't remember the car, a 60’s muscle car... it was like 40 years ago. But, the manufacturer had run a tube, closed at one end, from the intake past the firewall into the passenger compartment. It sounded like I was next to an uncovered carb, inside the car. Maybe there is some sort of sound transmission via design or absence of insulation in the 370Z?

I get it when downshifts but it comes from my exhaust.

i know exactly what your talking about i also noticed you can hear engine noise inside the cabin more in the 370z so im thinking you cant hear it your G because its a luxury coupe there for its quieter inside
