no cutting is nice.hopefully a sedan owner will dyno it after the install so I can get a number to compare to the 14 hp gain from stillen.

Yeah.. I'm reall REALLY wanting to see or hear SOMETHING on this. I'm so close to buying, but want someone else to be the guinny pig first!

I really just want to see a dyno sheet. They have one in the background of this advertisement, but can't find the actual dyno OR a contact e-mail to request it.
http://afepower.com/catalog/TA-3016P/NPA.pdf

OP - where or how do you know that gain is claimed on the coupe? I haven't found any document saying anything specific.

I pm'd jebperformance here in forum, and he said the gains were only on the coupe. he didnt have any numbers for the sedan, cuz he said takeda never tested one.

Cool. Thanks. ...I really want to see that dyno. I like the peak of the Stillen Gen 3, but the curve of the R2C for daily driving. I'm wondering where this falls and if it's going to be a "best of both worlds".

..Other concern, and I saw someone mention in the other thread about this intake, is the water ingestion/protection. Someone said AFE set the release date back due to making something to address this?

i went with the Gen3 without hesitation even though i knew this was coming out

smaller tubes = less air flow. not to mention the turbulence created from the pinch point. the end lol

i didnt mind cutting a couple holes in a place no one will ever see for more air flow

FYI, it isn't about the size or diamater of the tubes its about the best air volume. Just like the stock intakes, you could say they are restrictive or small, but truth is they are engineered to be the proper volume.

That debate aside, I think I will get one of these when they are dyno proven. I waited too long on the 3g and now there is this, so why not!?
