Takeda Cold Air Intake System
Cold Air Intake System Takeda Intakes Infiniti G37 V6-3.7L<BR> TA-3016P - aFe Power
Producing gains of 19 horsepower and 12 lbs. x ft. torque, Takeda is proud to have engineered this true cold air intake system. The placement of the unique single air filter in the area in front of the radiator guarantees a supply of cool, high pressure air. The Takeda philosophy of "no cutting or drilling" is maintained with this intake system, as flexible urethane couplings are used to pass through existing openings in the radiator core support. The polished aluminum tubes are maintenance-free thanks to the clear anodized finish. Whether for street or race, this is the ultimate intake system for the G37.
Anyone here have this on their G37?? Fairly new so I can't find any reviews on them. I have the Gen3 love it but this is a nice option over Gen3 if anyone doesn't want to hack into their G..

thats looks interesting. not too many details on the air filter or anything
i wonder if you could install without taking off the front bumper
looks like the MAF sensors get moved up to right beside the throttle bodies. are the wires even that long?
no rain shield?

Yeah, this was posted on Driver... interesting to see no splash shield. I am hoping that these pics are for the 370z, and that they do have a shield for the G. I guess only time will tell!

Last time I was on their site researching drop in filters I didn't notice these, must be new. They've only had the short ram intakes before. The filter on their intakes are made from the same company AFE - looks like the Pro Dry S filter, which is an excellent no oil reusable filter. I'm running their drop-ins right now.
Good to see some more competition out there - similar to Stillen?

I don't see why you need a splash shield. You are screwed only when the filter is completely submerge in water.
I used to have AEM CAI on my old car, the filter sits about 6" from the ground. The filter gets hella wet during heavy rain but I never had an issue. I never hit a big puddle though.
