Does the bumper need to be removed to do the install? Or can it be done all from the top?

That is not correct....you absolutely have to remove the bumper. I tried to do it without removing the bumper and realized that it is just about impossible. The problem is the brackets that attach to the pipes that feed the filter. They go around the front crash bar, and you will never get that screw in without removing the bumper

OK thanks for the info. After install, is the filter removable without having to remove the bumper?

just like they said you had to remove the bumper for the stillin intake i didnt remove it..im sure it can be done very easily without taken out the bumper

^^^ a bit harder, i already have an exhaust and test pipes, so im in need of a tune till i get full power

Sure you can do it without removing the bumper if you don't use some if the supplied brackets. Also I am speaking from experience. I just installed it this Sunday and I don't see a way to put on those two lower brackets without taking off the bumper

Ensure you have both sensors plugged in. And also check and see if you accidentally pulled something else lose
