K&N Air Filter +HP??

Personally, I would spend the cash and effort on a sway bar upgrade and drop in filters. The G37 is already pretty dang fast...but making it handle better is something to think about. Cost of the Stillen CAI = K&N drop in and Hotchkiss sway bar

I agree. I'm keeping it simple. I've owned both the gen2 and 3 from stillen as well as the takeda short and long tube intakes and wasn't too much pleased with the results as far as gain. Then again I was tuned and wasn't planning on getting one. So it just came down to cost effectiveness. Don't get me wrong the sound and look were great but I couldn't justify the cost of owning all 4. That money saved went to a catback instead, which is a solid investment.
So keeping it simple with post maf tubes and K&n drop ins was the right fit. Our stock airboxes are brilliant, when coupled with the mishimotos and aftermarket drop ins.

Did you get these installed?

Oh I forgot to mention that engine bay temperature plays a huge factor in the gains/loss of hp. For example if you are running your car hard and the outside temperature is hot, you could be losing hp from drawing in too much hot air. This is why people that install short ram intakes say they found a decrease in power over their stock intakes. Drawing large amounts of hot air from the engine bay is not ideal for NA setups. However, installing just the filters and keeping the stock tubes shouldn't have that huge of an impact to where you would lose hp.

i got R2C drop-in filters. no ****ing around with cleaner and oil (and possible over-oiling and fouling the MAF sensors) - blow them out clean with an air compressor, or wash them with water if they're really dirty ...
