I put them on my G25X. Don't feel anything. It sounds a little louder tho. Those VQ intakes are made great.Highly tuned from the factory

Pop or SRI

So now that its pretty clear the better route is with an intake...

WOlf Tech Pop Charger ki, or K&N Typhoon SRI?

Both claim similar gains, both are within 50 bucks from eachother.

if you're going intake go stillen gen 3s.
I just bought the KandN filters 2 weeks ago and if anything its a 1-2 hp gain. but i noticed the exhaust sound is a little higher on higher gears which is pretty sexy. plus its good for the engine and everything. i personally aren't gonna buy intakes cuz i already bought the filters. but stillen gen 3's are what i would go if you're willing to drop over 500.

I got AFE Pro Dry filters, and it made the sound of the intake a little deeper at WOT. I just got them because I wanted the best performance from my stock intake as I don't think an aftermarket intake is worth it at all, especially a short ram pulling hot air. Our stock system is basically a cold air system since it pulls air from the grill area. If you get an intake id say do it for the sound and not performance.

After much research, I went with the K&N Drop in for the hope of better throttle response. And yes they provide an enhanced response from the peddle. My filters were nearly new from the dealer but swapping with the K&Ns did make my drive a little more fun Not sure on mileage yet...I've been at 19MPG for the last two months so will check back in a few weeks and see how it goes. I wasn't expecting a massive change in power or anything but the throttle response with the paper filters wasn't to my liking.

Also just a tad more growl...or I just noticed the growl more as I had the windows down during my drive. I don't want extra noise so the drop ins are just fine...might look into the aftermarket tube replacements.

I actually just bought these for my G37x Coupe. I popped them in few days ago, my facotey nissan ones were really old I had about 51k when I changed them. The only difference to me is my shifts are smoother in 7 speed auto and alittle louder

Stay tuned. I just got K&n drop ins as well, going to pair change the past MAF tubes with Mishimoto. Small review to come.

Thanks. I'm resisting doing too much aftermarket unless it's easy or proves to be worthwhile. So far the sway bars and drop in filters both are must upgrades in my book. I had a short ram in my previous car and too much noise with not enough results.

I agree. I'm keeping it simple. I've owned both the gen2 and 3 from stillen as well as the takeda short and long tube intakes and wasn't too much pleased with the results as far as gain. Then again I was tuned and wasn't planning on getting one. So it just came down to cost effectiveness. Don't get me wrong the sound and look were great but I couldn't justify the cost of owning all 4. That money saved went to a catback instead, which is a solid investment.

So keeping it simple with post maf tubes and K&n drop ins was the right fit. Our stock airboxes are brilliant, when coupled with the mishimotos and aftermarket drop ins.

Good afternoon

I just bought a cupe 2008 sport. A friend I recommend the cold air intake of Stillen, which is behind the grill. I do not know what they think

Additional, I draw the attention to the subject of the factory parts with the silicone tubes.

Which is the best for the VQ to breathe fresh air and more hp

thanks
