Any fix for Tanabe Medalion leveling problem?
I just installed the Tananbe Medalion axle back exhaust and while it looks and sounds great, the left side hangs higher the the right. I see this is an issue for others as well. See the attached photo I got from another thread.
I would like to lower the left side about a quarter of an inch to even the sides and move the uber hot tip away from the plastic bumper. Has anyone modified the hanger(s) to make the two sides level?

FOLLOWUP: I got the exhaust leveled, but it took more than a couple of washers.
Turns out it's the rear rubber hanger that pulls the left exhaust tip too far up. The front hanger swivels on its post and causes no pressure. I ended up unbolting the front hanger, then, with a helper, pulling down the exhaust tip and placing a "shim" in the rear rubber hanger. (See attached photo.)
Like a good "shade tree" mechanic, I used what was available... in my case a "toggle" off a toggle bolt. (I tried a couple until I found the right size to get an extra 1/4" drop.) I removed the bolt, squeezed the toggle and taped it closed with electrical tape, then pulled the tip down (stretching the rubber hanger) and slid the "shim" in the doughnut hole in the rear hanger.
I reattached the front hanger, adding some washers to the back of the bracket to accommodate the extra 1/4" of space. Turned out perfectly, as both tips are now dead even.
Hope this information helps!

I never noticed the problem until I installed my AK-X rear diffuser. Its my passenger side exhaust that sits a tad higher than the other. I fixed it caveman style and stepped on the exhaust and put some weight to stretch it. Took a few days of doing this but it's all good now.
