operation of magnum oxygen 02 sensor/stimulator/eliminator

found this about when you remove stock oem cats & replace with test pipes, cause the following.
injected gasoline engines controlled by ecu/ecm.have oxygen sensors to measure the amount of oxygen in exhaust gas.theese sensors deliver voltage to the ecu, according to the actual consistance of fuel mixture.
when someone removes the catalytic convertor(s),theese signals coming from the 02 sensor will be out of range.this occurrence will cause a cel.
this will cause the car to run at a medium/security level
causing a limp mode.
this product claims to bypass both pre 02 & actual 02.
it claims by doing this,it will trick the ecu in delivering more power.
I think it sounds good up to the part of claiming to trick ecu making huge gains in hp.
what do you guys think?.
sounds like it would work, just curious if anyone here can even think it is possible.

ive heard that the o2 sensors are just sensors and whether or not they trip an CEL they have no impact on performance
