Stillen Gen3 Intake

I was thinking of getting a Stillen Gen3 Intake. Is it worth it?

So you think the 18hp gain reported by Stillen is false? Just asking, cause I am going to buy one in the next few days also...

How is the sound from inside the cabin? Is it much louder than the stock intake?

i cant tell completely cuz i did an exhaust and an intake at the same time, but theres definitely a noticeable audible difference with the gen 3's for sure. you'll get some HP if you get your car tuned afterward probably

I drove my '08 G37S 6m for 2 years with just a Tanabe exhaust which only made the car sound better but no performance gain that my butt could tell. Added the Injen CAI (that I had sitting in my closet for a year) and it was like getting a new car. It changed the sound of my Tanabe's and my G37S will roar at WOT. My butt CAN tell a difference but I can't quantify it. It's just quicker. Period. Put on some new shoes (Michelin A/S 245's and 275's on stock 19's) and I've quit looking at M3's and ISF's. Love my car.

I can't tell any difference. Let's be generous and say you get a 12 hp gain. 12/330 x 100 = 3.7% I don't think the butt dyno would notice that. Has Stillen posted before/after dynos?

Yeah, I think the dyno sheets are in their website. If you click on the product, it has the option to view the dyno sheet.
