Reducing exhaust sounds

Installed Magnaflow exhaust and CNT HFCs, great deep sound and power. It has the boom between 1500- 2000 rpm, otherwise its close to factory exhaust sound above that. Its loud inside the car than outside, is there any way I can reduce this?

You can take off your HFC's and put back your stock cats?

Nice idea Sam. Prefer not to do it at this stage after spending so much time and enough money to have the HFC installed.

Will try those sound insulation materials. Its not so loud outside the car as it gets inside !!!
I've noticed that the sound has been dampening the few days I've driven it after the install, let me see how it sounds after a week.

Should I replace the resonator that came with the magnaflow with a longer one as I read it might help to reduce the sound ? Or as Sam suggested take out the HFC?

Dude you want to get rid of that note!? I had the Magnaflow for a while and absolutely LOVED setting off car alarms in the Airport covered parking garage

I like the exhaust but it was bit too loud. The note seems to be simmering down, I guess there is a break in period for this exhaust setup. Even that boominess is reduced a bit. There was a rasp and that seems to be gone, I think the metals expand with the heat they form proper seals.
I'll going to keep it the way it is.
