6 months later...SES comes on with RTP
Ive had my GTM test pipes for nearly 6 months now, and never had a light. Upon start up the other day my SES light comes on. I drove, turned the car off and stopped for a while, and then it went off. Well then the next time it came back on. Car drives perfectly fine and havent had any other issues that would trigger a light...so why would the SES light come on after so long with the pipes? Could the resonators be broken in and they are flowing more air? Or could there be some carbon residue on the sensors themselves making them think there isn't enough air flow?? I may try some steel wool, but an idea of why the light would come on after 6 months would be better haha.

You slowly chew it and swallow the juice.
Seriously, you stuff a small wad of it tightly inside of the extender leading to the oxygen sensor right at the tip of the O2 sensor. Don't ask me for a detailed explanation of exactly how the steel changes the chemical composition of the exhaust and makes the light go off, I'm not the best guy to do that. It does work though, I can attest to that personally.
