Can we revive this thread? I would love to see some pics!
Here you go. I currently have the Kinetix mani on my workbench in my garage and am running with the stock plenum. The kinetix did not make any power over stock at the low boost levels I am running on an all stock bottom end. Looks good though!

Really? No power gain from the Kinetix? Yeah it looks good, but that's a disappointment to find out that it's all looks and no appreciable gains. Are you gaining anything at the higher boost/RPM levels?

I did not see the actual dyno from Sam, but the peak numbers were lower at a given boost level vs. stock plenum.

I'm not surprised this doesnt make any gains...and if it doesnt make any gains on F/I it will probably lose power with N/A. Looks like Nissan engineers squeezed out everything from the stock VHR manifold.
looks good, however if there are no performance gains = fail.
even worse, no gains with f/i applications.
better off with headers, at least you get some gains.
a little off topic, but is THIS what they mean by "plenum"...? plenum = intake manifold + runners?
Plenum (on a stock G) would be the black plastic intake manifold, under that (separate part) would be the metal intake runners.
The Intake runners go between the plastic plenum and the intake ports on the heads. It is also where the fuel rails and injectors mount onto and spray the fuel.
