Tanabe exhaust/or Greddy TiC? ? ?
I'm not into loud loud exhaust, but definately want the car to sound more refined type. I dont want to drive by my house 20mph and have people think its a motorcyle or something. I listened to tons of greddy tic, it sounds deep, I like it, but I'm not sure, once i drive by house, or local streets/ its going to be to loud, or the inside cabin noise with it. Found good prices, to my best knowledge, it comes with the midpipe and mufflers for $700-900. On the other side Tanabe is good sound for me, but maybe after a while, ill probably regret not going an above step. However both makes on their website state that they are under 93/94 db, greddy i guess if you take out the silencer the number will change. Also tanabe is like $700 just the muffler. I'm sure there a louder better exhaust with HFC, so I guess these are baby type. You guys tell me. I also shopped around, and just for the time etc. I would probably just get the short fujita intake, or injen. Thanks for your suggestions? Anybody got this combo fujita/tanabe or greddy tic/fujita

Really liked the Tanabe when I had it. It's very mature sounding. Ti-C with silencer will be quieter than Tanabe. Ti-C without silencer will be loud, much louder than Tanabe.
I don't think you'd be getting that much gain from the Ti-C anyway, so I'd just go with whatever you think sounds better to you and not worry about mid-pipe back vs axle-pipe.

BUMP.
WOW thanks a LOT! ! I'm a 29 year old working professional. I had a 1999 honda civic si while going to high school/ college with the catback etc. I remember coming into my house, I use to wake up the people at night. I love cars, but just needed that re-fined sound. Looks like i'll be going for tanabe, last i'm opt for either fujita/injen/takeda short intake.

Your stock inakes will perform better than any SRI jut add drop in filters , I had injens and jwt and loss of TQ period !!! Besides intakes made the car sound like a Civic with that noise intakes make, you want refined I'd say just add tanabe mufflers and leave it alone, can't get better than that ... GL man

I wonder when they are going to make the Y-Pipe available to the public, isnt that sheet dyno online with their Y pipe+ MiDpipe+ muffler. How much can you gain with just Tanabe y-pipe and tanabe muffler only. Takeda intakes= WIN? Do you have videos with you car with that intake on? I dont intend purchasing intakes, I just want to hear that nice mature exhaust and off course its look. K&N filter and HKS, what's the real big difference. BUMP BUMP!
