product looks good and installation was pretty much a breeze. my question is, do our SRIs, or the injen one more specifically, not produce that hissing/whistle noise as much as on other cars? i would have thought even more since there are two intakes.

mine has that beastly roar at WOT, but not really any of the aforementioned noises that I have always experienced on my other vehicles with intakes. thanks

I have the Injen SRI's too. and I don't hear any whistling but a very faint hissing.

My brother has an Injen in his Civic and the hiss and whistle in very loud on his.

 

oh ok. well that makes me feel better i guess. it doesnt matter at all..just a cool sound i guess. hopefully after i get some tanabes i wont be able to hear it anyway

 

I am thinking about getting the Injen SRI as well, I already ordered the FI CF exhaust, FI HFC and Custom X pipe with 18 inch resonators. How long was install and what tools did you need?

 

i think for the Injen SRIs, it keeps the rubber part of the intake, which contains the Z tube and the resonator. i have the R2C intake and took apart all those components, and for me its pretty louddd than stock. hope this helps

 

mine does not have the Hissing noise as well... but is a very good productive INTAKE for a daily driver like myself!!!
