Installing mid Pipe only (Tanabe)
Hey guys,
I would like to know if I install this:
Will I be able to gain power to make car keeping the stock exhaust? and well it sound louder than when installing Tanabe exhaust?
I know Tanabe isn't really loud, but when I had my Lexus IS300 and I had Tanabe Medalion Touring exhaust installed on it. I was stoped by police and the car was Impounded for 30 days.
You might not believe this, but this is only in United Arab Emirates in a small town called Al Ain.
Anyway, I want really to install it, but would like to know if there is any sound clip or someone installed it and can tell me how does it sound. If it's louder than the Tanabe Medalion Touring Exhaust. Then I won't... I still would love to keep my stock exhaust and install this.
I used the search and it gave me no results with installed front pipe without the exhaust.
help if you can guys.

These seem to replace the most non-restrictive part in the OEM exhaust, the midpipes.
If you're looking for power, this is not the way to go, if you want sound, then maybe you'll get a slight increase.
You're better off with HFC's IMO since you want to keep your stock muffler.
And yes, Al Ain police are **** about exhausts for some reason
