Hey Josh, that was me you talked to. Sam was going to call you the following day after we talked, but he saw this thread first thing in the morning and replied here instead.

You had told me that you weren't able to send us any pictures, but that you would be removing the test pipes and sending them back to us. We are happy to work with you and really want to see what happened with them. I know you aren't in the same state as your car, so I'm just waiting for some more information so that we can act accordingly. If there's anything on our end, rest assured that we will take care of you. Please, in the future, contact us if you have any issues as we are happy to take care of our customers.

Thanks,
-Mike

Alright, i will be sending you a picture on wednesday probably and then also sending the test pipes to you. I need a place to send them though, if you could give me an address i would appreciate that. Also, i dont understand what you mean by you are happy to take care of me. Is that in regards to paying for shipping, or a general statement.

They mean, they'll have a look at it, and if it's their fault they'll have you covered otherwise, they'll fix it for you at your expense.

Looks like the bracket snapped off at the weld. Could be you ran over something that hit the pipe and it snapped the bracket off the test pipe. Not a weld expert, maybe it's a bad weld. Interested to hear what GTM says/does.

^ that is what I was thinking. I ride low as hell even with bags and I scrape my exhaust and I assume TPs to! People say they see sparks from under neath my car when I go over dips and heck I drive like an animal and I push it hard, I hit about 100mph+ PER DAY when I enter the freeway and never ever had an issue, very interesting though. I'd personally be glad atleast it's a GTM product, if it was somebody else's products I'm sure they wouldn't hop on this fast to reply and offer the help. Plus it's GTM, they did over 200 builds on vqs over the past 5 years, a simple test pipe, I'm sure they can take care of that

It does look like the bracket snapped and put a hole in the test pipe. Atleast this product actually removes the SES light upon installing it

Definately seems like something was hit, welds don't break for the hell of it.

Josh,

Mike received your PM and we'll be keeping our eyes open for your test pipes. Once we receive them, we'll let you know our findings.

Thanks,

It's not easy to make a big crack like that!
