don't care if you gain power, that has no place on a Z/G IMHO.Normal (short tube) headers connect the engine's exhaust ports to the cats. Long tube headers have the collector positioned further from the engine (targetting mid-high rpm gains) and hook up straight to your catback thus deleting your cats. They look something like this:
Resonance caused by the long tubes tend to make your engine sound like it's doing double the rpm it actualy is which is why I love the way those sound!!

Lmao. I heard fI + HFCs with 18in resonators and it is loud as ****. Like 1 mile away and it sounds like it is standing next to me. I would like FI headers, but I want to have cats. No cats equal too much gas smell.
