MXP EXHAUST FOR G37x AWD

hey wasup guy i bought a MXP exhaust catback.. i didnt know it wasnt the same.. the Y-pipe was hittin the trans-box.. i was so mad i didnt know what to do i was so pissed off. i took it to some placee paid $150 to install.. the guy told me it didnt fit. soo i basically paid the company $150 so he can tell me he couldnt do..

next day i took it to a custom exhaust shop.. they mad the Y- pipe bigger by like 4 inches.. and cut the some on the back of the y pipe.. they didn't touch nothing of the mufflers or the restonerss..and on top i paid $200 bucks for that...

but in all im very happy i love the sound it makes i just got to brake it inDOMO...p.s digging the blue tips

but if you have a G37x.. i have to say theyre isnt any exhaust out the guys have to custom make them.. i got so madd when i heard that... i know for a FACT that nissan skyline GT-R is an AWD so they should have something for g37x get me? so for companies out theyre please start telling some new things on the X. i know Cali or MIA dont need an AWD b/c of the weather. but damnnn i want some good shhh it for the my X also.. ill show you guys pics of them later got to upload them ill show the problem and the solution lol..

Did your exhaust come w/ the original B-Pipes or the new version that has proper clearance on the automatics, or is the AWD version even different from that under there?

Well, it is kind of your fault. He did remove and install an exhaust, correct? It would have been different if he sold you the exhaust, tried to install it and still charged you $150. Anyhow, glad you got it to work. Got any pics and sound clips?

If it's a 7AT then the new B-Pipes would have worked w/o all that money and modification. You should contact the vendor that got you the MXP and see what's up.

To get exhaust to fit the AWD you have to extend the pass side if the Y pipe 4 inches to clear the T case..Basically you could buy any exhasut for the coupe and have that pipe modded to fit, But you will lose warreny on the system + add $150-200 to the cost of the system. that why I went custom for my sedan.. My coupe I may wait for ARK to come out with their lit this summer, I HOPE
