i could agree too mang, the intakes look doesnt make you wanna pay. The only thing that shows off it thats good is the hand-weld points. Besides that its only for hp and loudness.

Welcome to Stillen world, r&d shiet that dont work good and then dont do shiet about it. They switch staff like Walmart or something so the new guy never knows shiet and the latest guy didnt know shiet to begin with, and the guys that know shiet just try 2 sell u shiet, then u try to go technical then they just say they're better cause they're stillen and been around for a while. TRUST, read threads from my350z and g35driver, stillen fail. I live 15 mins away from them and i dont even go there or buy their shiet period. Again, license plate bracket tho, most successful thing they did for our cars lmfao, besdies that, nada. One of those companies that just are quick to come up with stuff first when a car comes out, than when all the baller shiet releases they fail.

My Gen3 didnt fit that good either but after playing around with it a bit here and there, everything worked out good, I didnt have any rubbing issues at all in the engine bay, the only thing that I didnt like too much was by the driver side headlight area. the tubing was waaaaay too close to the AC lines. thats about it.

To the OP, did you try loosening all the coupler clamps on the drivers side and twisting the pipe? Looks like if you twist that drivers side pipe counter-clockwise it will rotate up and away from the body more toward the engine.

a friend of mine has this on his 37...the fitment does suck...but it sounds so good at WOT. in any case you shouldn't buy intakes just for looks...lol.
i've never seen an injen on a g37 but i always hear the fitment is top notch. what i don't like is where they sit in relative to where the filters are. the piping just goes from the TB and takes a 90 deg down angle and stops right behind the wheel well...i'm sure this is no problem during normal spirited driving, but let's say on a hot track where the asphalt is generating so much heat along with your brakes, i think the stillen remains cooler in these conditions, no?

i just went to Home Depot and got some felt (the stuff that has a sticky side and a felt side) for like $1.99 and cut a very small piece and put it between the car and the pipe on the driver's side (with the sticky side on the car) and it took care of it completely. and because the piece is so small you cant see it unless you actually move the piping.
I did pretty much the same thing. No rubbing issues after this. And I don't know about everyone else but I have no issues at all on the sound of these, especially with WOT at 5000RPM+. Just about every head on the street will turn to look (Not that i've ever tried )
