Cosworth vs. HKS Drop In Air Filter

http://www.cosworthusa.com/store/pc/...&idproduct=411

Anybody have any experience with these? I wonder how they compare to the HKS hybrid filter? Anybody have info on the best drop in filter for the G37? Thanks

I dont think you are going to see any gains/losses from an air filter...

one reason for getting an drop-in filter is because it's easy to maintain and it can be used many times. Personally I would choose this over the HKS since it is cheaper and I don't expect any performance gain from air filters.

Cosworth isn't cheaper than HKS, it's 45 for ONE filter. So it's 90 dollars. HKS is roughly ~60 dollars from Amp'd.

I actually liked them. Noticed a small gain in MPG. Cant say much in the hp department. If so it was minimal. I had them on the car for approx 500 miles. But i am having to trade the car in.

I'm interested, how do you clean them, did they come with any type of instructions? Thanks

No I beleive its just by running water throughthem and letting it dry since they are not oiled filters. I think some people use compressed air
