A lot of people have had issues with topspeed's exhaust, especially fitment, rattling, and drone. It's not just the G37 scene, but the G35 and 350z. The N1 style mufflers are too ricey for Infiniti and are too damn big. That's probably why they're known to be "affordable" and only are ever sold on Ebay.

Your right it is a shame, and I wasnt willing to cut the tip and have it modified to fit when I already paid for it

Review on topspeed pro-1 Exhaust (axle back)
I have read reviews and asked around about this axle back. I was hesitating to get it and have problems with it. I finally decided to give it a chance. I purchased them and its simple as 1 2 3. Took old pipes down and with 4 screws it was installed.
When tightening the 4 bolts do it slowly and in a pattern they just come together. It is hard to mess it up. Once they are all tight they should be in place and ready to go.
The pipes look good and once installed on the car they give it a distinct look. It’s noticeable from a distance. I personally like how they look like.
Then the most important is the start up and the sound. Well this sound was really rich and powerful. It is not raspy at all; it gives it a deeper tone and head turning for others. I showed it to a few people and let them listen and drive. Including one of my friends drove it before and after. He has a different car and exhaust done on his as well and he told me that these sound really good.
I am happy with this sound and the quality. The price they are offered is unbeatable. They look like the tenabe medallion and sound really good. I recommend them for sure and happy I got them myself.
