richierich, does the fitment problem have anything to do with your car being Auto? is yours AT or MT? Are you the "one guy at Ampd that has the fitment issues with the 5AT" Frankly, are the uneven tips a result of the AT fitment issue?

It's the AT. So you should be ok, Joe.

The AT drive shaft gets in the way of the MXP. A friend of mine with AT tried it, was kinda disappointed. It maybe fixable though, minor modification to make it fit the AT?

Mackin Industries will be doing one more test fitting tomorrow also they are waiting for richierich to bring the car by for them to measure. If everything goes well they will have a good idea on getting the replacement parts soon.

They are contacting their factory to see what's going on and this is the reason they are going to test again tomorrow on m/t car.

It cant be a problem with the transmission. It only has to do with the muffler, or axle back part. Im sure everything fits good its just that the tip and pipe connected to the tip got bent a little too much??

i agree that it is a hassle and it sucks that it wasnt perfect, again well just have to see what they say...hopefully the correction wont take long.
Everything bolts on. the canisters on the midpipe is close to the rear dif but its not hitting it or anything. I hear that the bushing on the AT diff is thicker than the MT?? or something like that.

I still love it though haha. IM SURE Mackin will correct this problem in no time...their a straight up company.
