Sounds kinda crappy to me. It wasnt designed for AT? Then a little heads up would be nice. Must mean they dont want AT business......cancel order. Am I misunderstanding or doesnt the mid pipe solution still void warranty?

Why would you stick with the HKS? There is a solution to make it work.

The original test model was on a MT. At the time of production it was not known that it would have issues with the AT. If MXP had known in advance we would have been able to tell everyone this. You are misunderstanding. It is stated that if you modify the exhisting one it will be voided, the new pipe which will be provided by MXP will not void the warranty. There is no need to cancel the order nor does it mean they do not want AT business.

You have to realize that most companies usually use 1 car for test fitting all their parts on. The test car happened to be a MT, not an AT. They were made to properly clearance everything on the MT underbody, not an AT. This does not mean they have no intentions of catering to the AT guys or else they would be doing nothing to remedy the problem.

I understand that a good bit of this information is confusing. However I would request that everyone try to understand the situation and not jump to conclusions.

Thanks for the clear information Ryan. Looks like AT guys are just fine - just need a tad bit more patience for the updated midpipe replacement or whatever. With how long we've waited on this system - what's a tad more wait right? Maybe it will be ready right alongside the next shipment!

Mine was installed last week on my '09 7AT. I believe I was the 2nd to get the MXP and have it installed. The shop said there wer no issues but after driving it the mufflers is off a bit as well as the passenger side tip. And, there is occasional knocking from the H-Pipe and Trans. I still love it and am glad MXP & Mackin are trying to resolve this for us. Don't worry if you have a 6MT. If you have a 5/7AT buy the time the other orders are filled I'm sure this issue will be resolved. I do love this exhaust FYI.

Elaborate on that - those look like fundamental problems and not AT problems. What do you mean by knocking from the H-Pipe and Transmission?
