Amplified Motorsport is the main shop here in So. Cali that many in the G community go to.. it's located in Monterey Park, CA. about 10 minutes east of downtown L.A. area off the 10 freeway..
If you go there to buy stuff there are allllways other G's there gettin work done or guys with G's just kickin it.. Other G enthusiasts to talk to, get ideas/advice.. I was there Tuesday for awhile, yesterday with a bunch of Team OCG's, will be there again today and tomorrow too haha..
If you want used fujita intakes from a local So. Cali guy, private message WHEELSUN.. he lives in so cali and i believe he posted asking $145 for his.. he also goes to Amplified Motorsports and can meet you there to sell them to you.. that is where he goes for some of his work and where he got all his parts taken off lately since he is selling his car..

Yeah, buy those
Check out the Engine/Intake ads here on the board.. you could pick up a lightly used fujita or JWT intake for not too much (few selling for bout $150), save money by doin the simple install yourself, and you can sell it for a good portion of what you bought it for when it's almost time to return the car if you're not buying it..
in the end you would have had an experience of quality sound and performance for probably even less than buyin the generic intakes that no one would likely buy off you..
or.. HKS drop in filters.. $45 shipped

i don't know wheelsun personally.. his ad said he had em for about 17,000 miles but they should be just fine.. if you meet him at Amp or somewhere you obviously would get to take a look at them.. private message him, he probably has pictures.

he's from West Covina, in case that's closer to you than Amplified..

There's a section called classified, on the forum.
You'll find cheaper, used intakes and stuff there if you don't want to spend money on new parts.

If your goal is to lose horsepower, then you're on the right track. I'd rather put on an eBay intake than one from Pep Boys.
But for real, if you want to keep your spending down to a minimum, then K&N drop ins are your best bet. Or save up and get an Injen CAI or SRI.
