I will disconnect the battery for the ECU while I install. Then i will drive around as much as i can before i go to the shop along with the 30 min drive to the shop. That should hopefully be enough driving to get the ecu back on the stock intakes. Then im gonna do 2-3 dynos stock then put on the intakes and do 2-3 more. Now when i put them on again to do the dyno, should I leave the battery connected or disconnect it when i do the install?
No need to ever disconnect the battery man. Just install the stockies and drive around with them for a while like you mentioned. Do the dynos, install the injens, (again, without resetting the ecu or disconnecting the battery), and then dyno again.

Well, i just got back from the shop. Was there for almost 2 hours. Ended up getting do good runs in before and after. I will honestly say i was a little dissapointed in the results but i'm not too dissapointed. All in all the before and after runs were near the same. Varying by 2hp about. Now maybe gamedog was right and i messed up by putting them on for a little yesterday who knows. Also since we were in a rush since i only had the dyno for an hour we didnt get to let the engine cool as long for the after runs. Anyways i will start a new thread this evening with the dyno graphs and numbers and a more in depth review.

So there was no loss in torque? Maybe I really was crazy. LOL.

^^The greatest it lost in torque was at most 5. So not a big difference. Like i said, maybe I screwed up by putting them on last night and driving. Also the engine didnt cool as long for the second runs.

Man I can see it now. Here comes bashing on injen/Gamedog round 2 once that thread is posted. Lolz.

I knew throwing the SRI's on and then switching back to stock was gonna confuse the ECU tho

That's probably why, you didn't get consistent runs for it to average out. You needed atleast 3-4 for the base to average out and 7-9 for the Injen to average out.

Yeah, that was my bad. I didn't realize how touchy these ecu's are. But I'm not complaining or bashing on injen. It still looks amazing and sounds amazing. Maybe later this summer I can get some more runs done. On the positive side the throttle response feels alot better and I still think it pulls a little harder up high.

You really need that many? If thats the case that'd cost me more than the intakes alone to do that many dynos. It cost me 120 for the hour. He got 3 in on the before but threw one out cause it didnt want to shift for some reason.
