Here's the Amsoil link about the filters: http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/eaa.aspx

- The heat shields seem to work well. After my test run last night (and I punched it up to 6-7k RPMs a few times and was at speeds around 100-120, I checked them and the heat shields were a kinda warm....but the filters were no where NEAR as warm. So I'm thinking the shields do their job. They seem to be a bit more substantial than other brands of intakes I've seen..... I just can't wait to use these on a cool morning in the 40's-50's and hear them suck in the cold air!

BUY THEM MAN!!!!!!
LOL
the R2C's are getting some good reviews too
but I'm leaning more toward the Injens

Hopefully, I'll have mine on this weekend.

Ya know, there MIGHT be a little torque loss in the low end, but it is MINIMAL. Also, I'm waiting for my ECU to finish learning about the new intakes before I make my final judgment call. I know some people say it takes a few weeks, and they've only been on since Sunday. LOL. But they're great.

Thanks man...yeah I love them. I'm about to join a local car group so hopefully they'll get some looks!

To reset the ECU, just disconnect your negative battery terminal for at least 15 mins. Basically you disconnect it for the install, and by the time you're done, 15 mins has already passed, you reconnect it and you're done. I DID leave mine disconnected overnight as previously suggested by other posters, but from what I've learned since then from a few other guys (aliiin and jnguyen), it's only 15 mins to reset the ECU!

Awesome bro! Definitely post a review once you get them and do your install. I want your opinion on them too. You've probably got a bit more car experience than me, so I want a few more opinions. So far I still really like them.

Im glad to hear that at least some of us are happy with the SRI, in my case im 50/50 I like the way they look and how easy they were to install however, i think i expected more from these intakes. Dont get me wrong the sound is there at high RPM's but still im not 100% happy just for the record i have Tanabe's on before i installed the intakes and honestly the difference is very minimal compared to stock, so im going to back to stock for those of you that are interested in these i have a set for sale only 3 days old just shot me a PM if interested. Again the Intakes are great but it wasnt what i expected but oh well cant expect much from SRI's.
Question, what other intakes are out there besides stillen 3g and Injen CAI?
