hks exhaust gap issue (pics)

hey guys,

just got my hks, and the gap between the rear valence and the exhaust is bothering me, could this be fixable at a shop? or no? i was looking at the hks for the g35/350z and they seem to be gap free, perfect fitment. i included pics

i used a members pic, to show what im talking about.
thanks

G35 coupe

This is normal for any exhaust. If it were any closer your bumper would melt.

It looks from the pictures that G35 one is just more flush with the rear valence, not closer, so it just looks like it has less gap. Member amoney on here had his adjustable section drilled with an extra hole so the tips would sit more flush, like the G35 ones. Maybe you can look into that.

I dont have any pictures because the exhaust is packed up and will be shipped out shortly. As far as drilling the hole. Its pretty straight forward. I just drilled it one inch up from the original hole. Looks much better imo.
