I do blame you a little for trusting a carbon fiber company to make you an intake worth 800 dollars. Bleh, I would never. It was quite ballsy for Status Elite to make this statement: we don't compare to Stillen, JWT, and Injen. What have you done to even be mentioned on the same page as Arc, Mines, Top Secret. I was quite humored by that comment, none the less hope this gets worked out OP.

+1

Correct.

I believe it was 45 whp or something like that. If you drive it on a colder day, like below 50 degrees, you get an additional boost of 10 whp since it essentially simulates forced induction.

You should produce a limited amount of these scoops and charge a reasonable price like $2300...

I heard it worked for another company on these forum's..

you should have just went with Stillen. Stillen has great quality control over most of their products. I'm 100% satisfied with every thing from them.

Status Elite is right, they should not compare themselves to companies like Injen and Stillen.

It is beyond me how someone can spend $800 on an ALUMINUM SRI w/o heatshields when there are obvious cheaper AND better applications available. But ****...its your money. My advice: stick to what you know. SE trying to compare themselves to ARC, HKS, and MINES? Give me an effen break.
Banwagon hype....flavor of mouth nonsense....not knowing about cars in general? U really think u know more about your VQ than I do? I didnt take the comment directly but u just made it seem like everybody who bought the status elite intake is like that, are u ignorant LOL

DrJones, holy moly, send your intake to SE and they'll take care of it, simple as that, geeez man lol. They were at the shows with us yesterday, SE is probably on their way back up North right now. It was a looong tiring weekend for them and Lou and even us.

You guys seriously just jumped way into conclusions with this lol.

u guys need to stop bashing the vendors and let them do their job. im sure they'll take care of this matter and everything will be resolved soon enough. people can justify what they spend on.. dont have to hate on it. if u cant afford it then just walk on and get something u can afford.

whether this intake is worth 800 or not its up to the buyers to decide. no one forced anyone to get them, they did it cuz they want it and they feel they can justify their purchase.

You guys are talking about comparing it to ARC and HKS status, and how it's comparible. It actually is, it's just the fact that SE's name hasn't been around for a while yet therefore it's not recognize as other comapnies. And in the big leagues 799 for a intake that is limited production is a high-decent pricing, compared to other quality competitors. FYI when and if the HKS Intakes for 37 releases, it'll be around $1100, and the ARC will be around $1400 bucs. And for the dyno-proven power that SE intakes create, 799 is actually a very fair good pricing for an intake in that league. Again DrJones, if you have an issue than relax, they'll take care of it, you already saw that Lou came in and tried to help immediately too.
