should I get the Injen short ram?

I'm thinking of getting the Injen short ram
what do you guys think of them
they state that it will give an extra 12hp and 7tq
I know a little while ago about the Injen cold air intake claiming some numbers and had everybody excited and it didn't produce the numbers it claimed
so I'm just wondering if these would be a good mod to get
thanks

you should do more research. UCLA bruin dyno 16.5 WHP on bonestock and Neverbonestock Dyno around 14 on modified car and with a tune he got 21 WHP out of it . Injen gains are there cause you can feel it and it sounds and look great. I honestly think that it comes to opinion and sound and looks. a few HP isnt really nothing for our Vvel engine so if you like the looks of it then get it. Our cars ecu are all different and adjust to intake differently. Some hate it and get no power and some love the intake and do gain powers. Its 50/50 with our cars on performance mod, not every car is alike. the only way you can really get real power is a custom tune with Cobb Ap, TechnoSquare, or Osiris.

You should get it if you want it and depends on if the install is too difficult for you or not. I personally would never go Stillen G3 cause i dont want to do permanent mod to my car and the install is too hard for me and etc. So do what you do man cause with our cars, the claim HP arent always true so go with looks and sound. Just dont go with fujita haha cause the heatsoak is crazy and you wont get no power since that seems what your going for.

Go with Injen though man. I would choose injen CAI or SRI handdowns cause they put alot of R&D into there intakes

I'm also considering, this what are the maintenance requirements for changing the non-oiled injen filters?

why do you say that
there claiming 12 hp as opposed to the CAI that gets 14hp
if it's only a 2hp difference and is easier to install and no risk of hydrolocking
why do you think it's a waste of time
just wondering, I appreciate your opinion though

Do a search on intakes, just bc the box says 12hp it does not mean 12hp Also the Fujita's get heat soaked, my car pulls so hard over the Fujitas its not even funny.

I'm waiting on my black Injen SRI from Amplified as we speak. I chose it mainly for it's looks and their reputation. Even if I haven't heard sound clips or see any independent dynos. I went SRI for the easy on and off install and no risk of sucking in water. I should have it within this week. I'll promise a butt dyno review after, with pics. No, not pics of my butt.
