With the full bolt on modifications from intake to exhaust tip and an actual tune (not a flash or pre-done map) the gains are under 40 whp.

And on your headers comment, are you saying that for specifically the VQ engines? Because many aftermarket header applications are primarily aimed to increase power, and generally speaking, they also tend to be one of the best bang for buck modifications for a huge range of cars. Saving weight is a very negligible amount as headers aren't very heavy to begin with.

Bump. .

As I said in that post. it's for FI VQ motors. You're not going to see any real gains with headers on an NA application.

VQ35 "bolt ons"
intake
plenum
headers (show me a dyno chart of gains from a Stillen Header Application)
exhaust

you would have good not great gains depending on what manufacture you went with.

I dont know what that is? What mods does it compensate for? To be honest dude.. Im not sure if the tuners out there FULLY understand engine tuning and EVERYTIHNG it entails. I have yet to see a G37 tuner utilize a wideband 02 and I NEVER head EGT mentioned. AFR is not as important as EGT. Actually AFR should be modulated to maintain a preset EGT based on the fuel used.

Dont get me wrong... obviusly tuners know what they're doing, but there are reasons they're not making bigger numbers with all these after market parts. I would like to see how they determine fueling. From your graph (making less torque) I could almost guess your running leaner than optimal. Some tuners say max power is ALWAYS made at ARF of 12:1 or less.
