In need of Help after installing injen cai!
Hey guys! i am very worried about my car at the moment. I installed the injen cai today and when i was finished. I put back on the bumper and everything else etc .. but when i tried to close the hood it wouldn't close properly. Only one side closed and the passenger side hood is popping out like a big gap. Another problem is after i installed the inejn cai my rpm does not go below 1!!

Uh oh, can you take pictures? Because that's not suppose to happen. You may have done something wrong during the install and it's not sitting properly.

Maybe theres a leak or something somewhere. I installed mine today also, and everything works just fine. Take some pics and maybe i can help a little better. Is one intake sitting abnormally higher than the other?

lol we won't flame... we're here to help, but obviously it seems like something went wrong with installation... you didn't use directions and just improvised everything?
i wouldn't drive your car tomorrow... cause it seems like you could have a big problem, but i don't know. play it safe.

Car should not idle at 1k. Mine idles at around 700rpm.
I think it should be fixable because it's not suppose to happen and nobody has this problem.

Make sure the MAF sensors are facing "forward". That is, the little opening faces the filter side of the intake, not the throttle body.
Other than that, make sure you tightened all the clamps, attached the two small resonator boxes near the engine, and that's really all there is to it.

Mine idles normally as well. Can we get some pics of the intake tubing? Did your car throw any check engine lights?
Also, the MAF sensors are only install-able one way, it wont go reversed..the holes don't line up. I finished the install in less than two hours with the help of a friend. its pretty straightforward.
We need more details!
