Im going to be 100% honest...I F**KING love this intake...It took me 1 hour and 30 minutes to install i was working me and one my friends.Ive built banshees(ATV) so i might be a little mechanically inclined but im clueless bout g37s.Performance Wise Me and my friend ran our cars at the track before and after and we would be neck and neck before. Now my car jumps on him by like half a car every gear so I am more then happy with the results.I would get this intake over any other intake in the market.I might sell mine because Im saving up for Rims for my car but after i get my wheels my next mod WILL be Injen CAI.Anyone looking for an intake this is the one you want.Plus it sounds so sick at high RPMs

I want Vossen.Or something in that Price Range.I was thinking did anyone drill hole in the fake air vents or completely remove it?I think the car will breathe better and maybe some more power.Because i really dont know how its getting air right now

it actually still does get air but not just directly. I tested it by taking a leaf blower and blew in the middle bottom vent and air did go around the radiator towards the intake and also through the top chrome grill to. I am getting the Ait racing bumper soon and i dont think it have side vents so it would probably help breathe.

Do you know if anyone sells a vent for them?I rather not drill wholes and completely removing it might look weird. It will get WAY more air if that was opened up a little

If you open up the vent, water and other stuff might get in, to the filters. But there's a mod that I think "chuck" did when open vent, you can try searching for it.

I had the same question about air before, but air gets in everywhere. You don't necessarily need to have an opened area to let it breath. The filter will grab air from all around.

injen mod

Guys haven't posted in a while. I've reached the end of my quest for power. I got the Cobb access port and took it to Cobb in Plano for an initial run. They are going to fuss with it to get some better numbers. If anyone in the DFW area has a stock G37 Cobb at Plano is wanting to set a stock baseline. Neil Bywater is the point of contact his phone is 214-291-3020. A point of interest is they use Mustang dyno and it generally reads lower than other dyno.s I'm very impressed with their operation and professionalism. I've got a modified Injen cai, Stillen wire kit, lightened pully, FI hfc's and exhust with JWT flywheel and clutch. I'm not posting the results of the dyno until we fine tune it. I'm not talking about a custom tune that will be my last step. The modified vents I put in work very well and I designed a cover incase of heavy rain. The post I did was in mid July if anyone is interested. Everyone thought I was having a senior moment when I posted how much more power I felt in the butt dyno. I will post after next Tue when I come back from Cobb.

Is the Injen site the best place to buy this intake as far as price goes? $509 includes shipping.

I would recommend getting it from Lou at Amplified. PM him under Lou@amplified. There's a lot of cases where people ordered things from Andy and never received the goods.
