^^Ever felt the tubes on the Injen CAI after running the engine for a little while? Dont, they will burn the shizzit out of you.

I think with short ram, heat soak is bound to happen no matter what. Unless you have a air box of some sort.

Which brings me to my next comment......

I am down for these if you can make a CF heat sheild or box for a reasonable price.

Yea, i thought it was a little strange that this "short ram" was $500 while Injen and Stillen's cold air's are around the same price..

What's up ?

Ok, so apparently people are mistrusting these intakes. I think If Status Elite makes CF pipes and heat shields, people will jump on this. That will set you guys more apart from other intake vendors. Just my 2 cents.

so has anyone got the intakes yet? I just got a quote on the intakes and was completely blown away on how pricey they are..for a ram air too...dammn there go my hopes on getting these

I wont say the exact price, that is something you should PM them for because it varies per piping color finish

Yeah they're really pricey for just intakes. I'm not questioning their quality, because i'm sure the welds and everything else is just amazing, but for that amount of money it just isn't worth it.

spot on..its quite unfortunate really, I had everything ready to purchase but the price tag just changed it all..I really wanted these too
