Ok so Im trying something new on Monday

I love the way that my exhaust sounds but its too raspy with the test pipes I spoke to my shop today and they stated that I can wrap the test pipes in headers wrap(which they have done before) and it will help or eliminate the rasp.

So come monday I will have a full review and hopefully it helps me and others that want to get rid of the rasp.

Is your rasp coming from under the car near the test pipes or from out of the exhaust tips? Would wrapping work on HFC also to help eliminate rasp?

ill be dead honest with you, that wrap is not gunna deaden rasp...i nver heard of that working...you have more of a chance ruining your motor than anything...id do more real research on the web dude...there are even a lot of warnings on using thermal wrap....alls im sayin is just check in to it more, dont just jump in to it, bc it wont get rid of any rasp...

How can thermal wrap ruin a motor? Ive been using it on my mustang headers for years with no problems? Its just a wrap that goes around the outside of the test pipes that reduces heat acts like insulation?

lol..i know what it is...its different on headers....it has to be wrapped properly....it holds heat in the exhaust....it can travel back to the motor...
