Id imagine you can just switch out the muffler or tips. I always felt dual exhaust and quad exhaust is like a badge of power. Mercedes and BMW only reserves quad exhaust for their high performance models (M & AMG). But on the japanese side, the previous gen maximas and the Acura TL-S both have quad exhaust and we put out more power than them. We can justify having quad.

Not to hate on the IS-F their intake noise is ridiculously awesome when it goes past 4k. Their exhaust tips though i read do serve some sort of purpose for reverberating the noise or something. Don't really like the look of that stacked exhaust tip though.

^^^ Don't get me wrong, I think the IS-F is pretty awesome, but they are faux quad tips if I'm not mistaken.

If your going for just the quad looks, you can easily weld on aftermkt quad tips, just as long as they are proportioned properly to fit. Same can be done to any aftermkt exhaust to get both power and the look you want. That is pretty hot I gotta say.

yeah, im all for quad exhaust. the setup in that pic looks sick. The more I look at it, the more Im surprised they didnt come like that from the factory. The G has a nice big ***, needs 4 tips to complement it
