Yep. Also, keep in mind the dyno charts are scaled; they do NOT start at 0 at the bottom, so the gains aren't as large as they look (percentage-wise). You pick up about 2-3% torque in some spots between 4K and 6K rpm. Then the big HP gains kick in at 7K.

Depends. How much of your driving time do you spend between 7000 and 7400 rpms?

Nice Review Stillballin. Is there anyway to get a bigger pic of the dyno to see the increased down low?

now the dyno looks good but is there a slight drop in power & tq at around 4.5k - 5k rpm?
i must be reading it wrong
It is the dyno being used.

Hey Stillballin, this is what you want to do. Upload the pic again to photobucket but this time in the "Reduce to" section select "1 megabyte file size." It is probably set to 800x600 which I think it default.

I believe the JWT's had a much more consistent gain across the entire RPM range which to me makes more sense for everyday driving.

For the track there is no doubt this Stillen 3rd generation is the best, no arguement from me, but for everyday daily driver use, is it really worth it over the JWT's?? Please don't take this as someone raining on this great Stillen parade, I'm just trying to look at this from the other angle.
First, good review and info. Thanks to everyone involved.

However, I have to agree with you SteveG37. I would rather see steady gains across the RPM range. The only power increase that this intake is showing is between 7000-7500rpm, other areas of the power band appear negligible. Not really sure what this is good for. Who drives in this rev range?

I'm just trying to be subjective based on the data given.
