Wow those welds do look like $hit! I remember when I bought Toda Headers for my Civic Si and the welds on them were immaculate. No scratches and scrapes like the Stillen headers. Man that is very disappointing especially coming from a company like Stillen. Ive installed headers on a 350z at my work and it took me about 3 hours, also because I had to wait til the car cooled off because I wasnt going to try and rush it and get burned

I hated how the headers turned out purple in some spots cuz the technician that installed it put his greasy hands on them even after i told him not to use his bare hands they were supposed to be totally bronze...but lesson learned especially with polished tubes.

The tech I talked to today wasnt really concerned about the welds or any other imperfection. I had megan headers on my 04 is300 and strup on my 06 350z back in the day that looked flawless compared to these and no problems . It did not have the thickness of the stillen headers which is the only thing going for them right now. Just want to get these back to see if the make power and how much...

Even if they do make power, you'll have probably ended up paying $250 - $500 / hp. In my opinion 1 hp should cost around a $100, if you install it yourself. Obviously if your trying to squeeze everything out NA, you're going to end up paying more.

Well dropped of the car off at Surgeline/Cobb today and the headers look sooooo much better with the gloss black Jet-Hot coating . Big difference in looks but what I am really after is hp and tq. Suppose to be ready to p/u tomorrow. On my Cobb test mule thread my final numbers are 302 hp and 250 tq with K&N drop in filters, Berk hfc , FastIntentions
catback exhaust and Cobb A.P. Tune. Hopefully I increase those numbers. We shall find out and will post pics of headers with coating shortly...
