it still seems like the filter on the driver side is more exposed from the splash shield compared to the drivers side filter. or is it the angle of the camera

still looks nice tho!

Christian, looking back, do you think you cut too much when widening the opening? From the pics, you took about 3 times the amount I did. Was in neccesary for you to get the tubes through being wrapped in a towel?

well , it was 3am , I decided I didn't want to fight it by having a just barley big enough hole. It was my experience that the passenger side hole could have been smaller, but for the drivers side I had trouble getting it to fit even with a big hole.

I looked at the housing afterwards and during to make sure it was still structually sound , IMO I cared more about not scatching the pipes than how big the hole was. Well see how others do, I am just happy to have finished, it took me way longer than expected , but generally when it comes to my car I take it slow when changing stuff

For an extra kick in the a$$ get this intake with a Technosquare reflash!! The car is a whole new beast now. It pulls at 130. Rev limiter.....gone, speed limiter....gone. The car goes 163 (at least)....I mean it should if you are on a track that is... There is a good article about Technosqare on the ImportTuner website under the Tech section.
