SO i installed the JWT Pop CHarger on my G37S///

I am very disappointed. I had a JWT Popcharger and Crawford Plenum installed on my G35X and WOW what sound it made... I duno if it was the Plenum that helped or if it was the way the engine and throttle setup was on the g35 and if it is that different on the G37.

The g35 would give a deep sound from like the entire rpm band. The g37 doesnt sound ANY different until like 7K rpm and sometimes it is loud and somtimes its not. That deep Intke growl isn't consistant AT ALL. I have no done a ECU reset. I will do this later but i doubt this would really change that..

I've heard th G37 has re-mapped the entire acceleration setup and im not too tech-oriented so Im not certain what would make the difference or not,

basically Im very disappointed in the intake and kinda pissed i paid over $300 for something that doen't sound any different and doesnt give me really any power at all and all it does is make me almost red line the car to hear it, and soemtimes that doesnt even happen.

I wonder if the Injen is different in the sound rpm band or is it just the Dual intake seup? Mabye that is why the G35X sounded soo much louder. ALl the air went thru one pipe... i duno. Im confused and dissappointed.

injen sounds great imo... but obviously the gains aren't THAT high as dynoed by some members...

sorry for the typos. but this was a rant because im pissed. i should have went with the injen. ANYONE want a 1 day old JWT pop charger shipped for $320? Still have everything. 1 day old. No rain or anything yet- no dirt either. Perfect. I paid $369.99 at Grubbs Performance NOW/

I'd trade for the injens. I will pay for shipping on both ends?

Sorry to hear you're disappointed... the JWT's primary benefit is hp gain to price ratio. There was never any question that Injens rawk on sound and looks.

under 5-10 hp doesnt mean CRAP to me. I want the sound for my money..

my JWT's seem to consistently make great sound in excess of 4krpms. try an ECU reset and drive on it for 50 miles or so.

Whoa... assuming he's one of the first few people to get the G, that's about 12 months ago. Meaning he's been driving over 33k/month, 1k/day...

I can see your frustration lol truth is, intakes don't really do much for this car, so the only thing left is sound; and if you don't even get sound, then what's the point?

That's why my intakes shall remain stock as I'm not interested in mod that only provides sound
