Not many people on here do before and after dynos, especially the same day. Maybe, just maybe someone will do this though.

I like the review but need to add that 'butt dyno' reviews are worthless. if there's no loss / no gain or a slight gain on bottom with a good gain on top, it can feel like a loss on bottom. likewise, I'd be concerned if you said the bottom end was stronger because a gain in bottom by the 'butt' can often mean a loss in top.

these motors build power with rpms, not torque mongers, so its understandable that the top end would be more pronounced now but it doesn't necessarily mean a loss on bottom, you'd need a dyno to tell you that.

I thought I read this somewhere but isn't it better to do a before dyno, install the intakes, reset the ECU, and drive it around for a while so the computer learns the new change?

If you do the dyno the same day it hasn't had time to learn the intakes yet right? Or am I talkin out my *** haha

That is not entirely right. The dynos should be done the same day. You should drive around for a little bit so the system can adapt OR do dyno runs until you get consistent numbers. That is why the best run is not a good thing to use. It is best to use the consistent number you run. The dynos need to be done the same day on the same dyno though.

Sound ---- Sounds Like A Intake !!! = Nice

Install --- Scale From 1 To 10 I Would Say A 2!! Honestly If You Cant Install These By Yourself You Shouldnt Be Modding!! = Nice

Butt Dyno ---- Wow... You Lose Torque !!! Just Like Any Other Intake I Have Had You Lose The Low End But Gain In The Top .. I Believe Another Member Or Staff Member Said They Felt Gains In The Low End!!!! I Dont Think So !! = Fail

In The End This Is Like Any Other Shortram Intake , Lose On The Low End But Gain In The Top , Sounds Cool, But Looks Cheap !!! The Only Way To Really Benefit From This Is A Good Ems And A Tune !! Than Ill Post My Opinion Again!!! I Also Have Berk Hfc And Waiting For My Fastintentions Exhaust !!! Someone Please Come Out With A Ems For The G37 So We Can See Some Real Results !! Flame On
Was wondering, did you reset the ECU after install and/or drive it around for a while to get the ECU to adjust to the intakes?

I reset the ecu . Im actually really disappointed in JWT. You would think they would of done a better job with the positioning of the passenger intake .The driver side no complaints , but the passenger side I do not like! Lots of rubbing issues . Seems like everything with this intake was a after thought !!!

You should get the Technosquare reflash to get the most out of your intakes.

Intakes give no REAL gains, 1-5whp is nothing, you wont even feel it.

Intakes give gains on economy cars that come will poorly designed intakes from the factory, our cars have great intakes. The fact that aftermarket intakes give no power is a good thing, that means Infiniti did a great job designing the stock ones.
