GReddy, Stillen or Magnaflow?? HELP

Hello G37ers,

After loads of research in this domain this is starting to give me a headache. Here's why:

1) Stillen is the only brand that so far that has HFC and Headers for the G37 (according to their website).

2) Magnaflow sounds great and has a pretty reasonable price.

3) GReddy's sound turned me on most to be honest.

Now, my question is, If i install a magnaflow catback would i still be able to install stillen headers and HFC without any problems? Or will fitting it in be a problem?

Regards,
Samer

To answer your question in short ,they will fit.All those parts are made to replace stock .You can put any of those parts in the exhaust system at any time. You could do cats and exhaust or headers and exhaust or headers and cats etc.

thanks for the info Gonkey
max, why pay three times the price for a product that isnt that different (im assuming they arent of course i dont know if there is). I'd rather spend the saved up cash on other mods dont you think?
no one replied to my question though.. do i still have to reflash the ECU? and what on earth does that mean lol

GOD BLESS THIS FORUM AND ITS MEMBERS!!
cheers,

no, you do not really need a reflash. if you want to really tune the engine to get all the hp gains out of your mods, then it is a good idea. or do you mean that do you have to reset your ecu for the car? yes, so the car can get used and be aware of the mods on your car.

You do not need to reset the ECU but it is a good idea so your car adapts to your mods quicker.

Do a search for this. It has been discussed many times how to do this. Check the FAQ and Engine Tech area.

cheers,
